Nicest people on earth. Food is good and ambience is exactly my style. Not too loud and not dead. My favorite spot in the hood.

I was here once before with a large group n it was decent. Tonight dropped in with a friend and food was really good. I had French onion soup n salad and he had a burger n a big pretzel. Everything was great including the drinks. A beer n shot special is 10 dollars which is great.Food seems way better tonight than a few years ago when I was there with a group. Will return n they have a good happy hour M-F ,4 to 7.

Adding to the rotation! Everything was good! The everything pretzel was piping hot, soft on the inside, buttery and loaded with tasty everything seasoning. Burger came out cooked properly (med rare), and was good quality meat, hand cut fries top notch! I got the mac n cheese and that was good too, especially the crispy cheese on top! The bar and dining area is dimly lit by Edison bulbs, fisherman lamps, and votive candles, and we sat in a cozy rounded booth.

I love the Prospect, my family and I have come here several times for dinner parties. The service is great, all the staff is so attentive and kind. The ambiance is nice--the mood lighting makes the space feel very cozy. And the food and drinks are great! The mac n cheese and kale grilled chicken salad are so good!! Can not wait to be back!

We popped in here for a drink as part of our Sunday Funday activities and received a warm welcome from the host and the bartender Julien. Julian was very personable, and we enjoyed conversing with him. I ordered the Bee Sting, which was a Bee's Knees with kick thanks to the addition of Anchos Reyes. Mom & Sis had the Blackberry Bramble. I had a sip. It was delicious & refreshing. This place has a rustic interior and a warm vibe. It bills itself as a neighborhood Bar & Grill. I can see why. Locals were sitting at the bar chatting it up. Everyone knew each other, and the staff greeted them by name. We already had lunch, but the food looked tasty. Next time I'm in town I'll give their dishes a try. *Brunch Sundays only. 11 am - 4 pm.

Five stars for the burger, which was fantastic, and the perfect martini. The interior of the place is quite dark and nothing special, and husband found the Old Fashioned weak. But the burgers make up for all other short-comings!!

Like this place. Friendly local bar. Both times I've been hear I've ordered the same thing and it's always been good. Ordered the burger - with bacon and blue cheese with a side salad. Fresh and cooked perfectly. Bartender was really nice. Only nit is that the kitchen closes a little early and a bunch of people came in wanting to eat but couldn't. I'd go back... and likely order the same thing.

How do I say random last minute stop because nothing else was open lol well atleast this I what i thought. It's July 4th and my wife and I are trying to celebrate our 4th annual wedding anniversary here in Brooklyn. We had a day filled with family fun we even watched a amazing fireworks show from the rooftop of our hotel. Now that the kids are sleeping and we want some drinks we set out with our cousin Gregg who is born and raised in Park Slope BK on foot to find a bar with some food and drinks! After a few stops we find ourselves here at Prospect bar and grill!! Nice mellow joint with some classic hip hop music playing Mos Def, Wu Tang , Outkast just to name a few. Nice place and it wasn't too packed just a right amount of folks to keep the vibe right. We order a few drinks and order some food. Gregg had some bbq wings Gianna had mac and cheese Vikki had half chicken with broccoli and i ordered some garlic shrimp which was banging!!!!!! The food came out in a timely manner and all was good no complaints at all. I will definitely swing back through here next time I'm in BK
